Learning and Support Hubs
Located in Eastern Europe
Countless Ukrainian children are living through one of the greatest human horrors: war. More than 2 million Ukrainians have left their homes, fleeing to foreign countries. Many of these refugees are children. Their families have been torn apart, and they are frightened. The cold-blooded attacks on innocent civilians, destroying schools, churches, and hospitals. Many Ukrainian children have lived through these attacks, sustaining intense trauma. For the displaced children who have escaped the horrors of war, we can only hope the worst is over. But the war has interrupted their lives—and education. |
Groza Care Foundation Provides
Free Learning and Emotional Support Hubs
for Ukrainian Children Displaced By The War.
After the storm, a rainbow gives us hope. Displaced Ukrainian children have lived through a very dark storm. Many feel there is no happiness in sight. They miss their friends, family, pets, possessions, and the homes they left behind. They suffer from nightmares, reliving their terrifying experiences.
Great atrocities have been committed and continue. But people always find a way to band together in the spirit of compassion. Right now, the Groza Care Foundation is providing hope and strength to the most vulnerable victims of this war.
The Ukrainian Rainbow Project
provides academic and emotional
support for Ukrainian children at no cost.
We achieve this through learning and support hubs located in Eastern Europe.
These hubs are a safe place for displaced children ages 6 to 17. They receive love, support, and a place to continue their education. They learn new languages and skills while making new friends. They also receive the mental health support services they desperately need.
Each hub provides a physical learning space, school supplies, laptops, and textbooks. We offer classes both online and in-person.
A return to routine and structure is the best way for these children to heal during this vulnerable time.
We offer academic and mental health support in Ukrainian and English. Some of the programs offered include:
- Structured academics (math, literature, foreign language, etc.)
- Individualized tutoring and mentorship
- One-on-one counseling
- Group counseling
- Stress management
- Art therapy
- Pen pal programs
All our education hubs are staffed with displaced Ukrainian teachers.
These teachers are in a unique position to understand the specific challenges these children are facing.
At the same time, the program provides employment and stability to these refugees as they help our youngsters succeed.
